3 Ingredient, Sourdough Discard, Easy.
This quarantine I started a sourdough starter. His name is Frank:) If any of you have ever maintained a sourdough starter, you know that you have to discard half and feed it flour and water every. twelve. hours. do you know how hard it is for a lazy teenage girl to remember to feed a smelly glob twice a day? Honestly, It's embarrassing how hard I found it to remember/stop watching youtube and get up to feed him. But I'm just going to ignore that and choose to be proud of myself!
BUT I have found a silver lining in the pain of taking care of my dear Frank-and that is that he tastes really good fried with brown sugar! Before you call me morbid, please try this recipe! The touch of cinnamon and the sour tang from the starter, topped off with the rich caramelized brown sugar...I'm drooling as I write this;)
so, without further ado, here it is!
